I saw this custom softail a couple years ago on ebay and just loved it. My mind said yes but my wallet said no. I downloaded the pictures of it anyway. last October I was in an accident and my 06 softail standard was beat up pretty bad. At least it kept all its parts which was more than I can say about me. Anyway I would like to fix mine up and figured this was a good time to use the one I had seen as one to model my baby after. Does anyone know who has this bike now or any information on it. I would like to find out what some of the parts are that were used like the seat, forks, triple tree and rear end kit. If any one can help me out I appreciate the help. Thanks! Ride safe!
Hard to tell. Maybe someone has more info at first I thought Rocker - C with heartland kit and night train style rim. But after looking further I think it's a Deuce.
I believe it may be a thunder mountain bike, they used to use the heartland struts and fender setups, If your motor and trans are still good you could look into a rolling chassis to swap all your stuff onto it.
no matter what you would need to get another fram, or highly modify your old one. That rake is severe, and not doable with raked cups and trees.
If you want that look, find a reputable frame manufacturer, or you'll be kicking yourself
Thanks for all the help guys, I will look into the Thunder Mountain setup. Keep the info coming. I really appreciate it. I am seriously considering the rolling chassis because I am not totally sure about my frame. Better safe than sorry. thanks again.
