Bringing this one back from the dead for a quick question.........
I'm planning on going with the black rim wheels also and was curious what the outcome on the Wide Glide front wheel was? Did it fit out of the box or were spacers required? Do you happen to have part numbers? Mines an '08 so they should be identical as far as what's needed. Thanks!
The Night Train has a WG front end. Harley makes 3 glide front ends...Narrow, Mid, Wide. Your 08 has 25mm bearings, so any WG wheel with the same bearings will be a direct swap. Other wheels off of different model years will also fit with a simple bearing change. Earlier models came with 1" or 3/4" bearings and would have to be changed to 25mm to work with your stock axle.
