RE: Combination Speedo/Tach

If it fits the 07... Does it include the clock like the stock dash?
No clock, but this is a small loss for what you gain. It's great having a tach and I love the color-changing feature. I bought the small chrome H-D quartz clock that attaches to the front brake master cylinder located on the handlebar.
The install on my 03 was easy, but it did require an extra wire(pink) to be plugged in.The dealer I bought from said they had to send it to the factory to get the mileage put in and it would take 7-10 days.I called after a week and they had forgotten to send it so they just handed it over with zero miles showing.
It was Plug-n-Play on my 04Springer...about 3 minutes to install, and I love it.About a week, and I had it with correct mileage. The odometer stays lit and readable, which was different. A definite plus having a tach.
I had my dealer install the unit and when I picked it up the odometer was at -0-. I brought this to their attention and said I'd like it set to the correct miles but they said they couldn't do it. As I only had 1,200 miles it wasn't a big deal but you would think this would be important.

If I were you I would think about e-mailing or calling the factory about it.
Putting in a new Speedo without "fixing" the mileage is violation ofFederal law and can give you problems later (if you sell the bike) if not get you in trouble.
The combination Speedo/Tach (HD PN 74549-07...this unit has the standard backlighting) is $353.23 at Zanottis (zanotti.com). If you want theunit with selectablebacklighting add an additional$50.00.
