No, they don't really get get slick when sweaty. I lost some set screws when I first installed them without any Loctite which obviously was my fault. Since then, no problems. Joker sent me a bunch of extra set screws at no charge. They've got about the best customer service in the biz.

heres mine off my 03 standard thy are about a inch longer then stock
and mad ein the USA ive done 700 miles in a day with these and feel the same as any rubber grip ive had on the same ride
