Well hell, I finally finished it up. I think. I will get better pics when time allows. If anyone ever decides to modify the riser cover, FYI: It is cast aluminum. I have a couple of brake line clamps and a throttle/idle cable clamp ordered.

Looking good brotha! I bought a new dremel bit to trim my riser cover but haven't gotten motivated yet. It does trim up easy enough I found when I notched the front covers for the light bar wires. For whatever crazy reason my cover fits fine on the left side but the right side is a good 3/8" or more from sitting flush.

From past experiences with aluminum and Dremel bits. Keep the speed low. The Dremel bit will clog quickly with melted aluminum. To trim my riser cover to fit over the 1 1/2" bars I used an air die grinder and a carbide burr.

That came out real nice man. Any regrets not going with the Carlini bars? Price is def right on the bars u got there. Also how does the 41 wide feel? Love to see where those put your hands.

To be honest, the bars feel great. I really can't tell the difference between them and the Wild1 Chubbies I had on the Dyna as far as width. I would recommend these bars to anyone that is looking for a standard style 1 1/2" set of apes. The bends are nice and the chrome is great. You will not find as nice a set of 16" x 1 1/2" bars anywhere for the price that HCC sells these at.

I guess I could find one of those pretty tags that Carlini puts on their bars and put it on these. Other than the tag you probably wouldn't know the difference between them in a side by side comparison.
