96 SS No Spark

96 SS No Spark
91 FXSTC with a 2 yr old S&S 96" with no spark
Went riding all cool
Ignition cover was flapping pushed down on it to stop flapping 2 miles down interstate bike died.
while still rolling Flipped ignition switch over to next position bike started running again
Looked for exit bike died before exit and had to get tailored in
Looked at and found out all lights had blown bulbs even headlight
Fried my turn signal Cancel modulator had to cut off the plug it had all melted together
I had broken hot aux wire at switch which may have grounded everything out
when I pushed cover down
#1 Replaced bulbs all work turn signals do not flash (I don't care)
#2 Replaced Ignition switch
#3 tested coil as in manual it shows to be good
#4 Removed nose cone cover at Ignition module green VOES light flashes when turning over
Should status light flash when motor hits TDC?
No spark using tester
What do I need to test next.
Not sure how to test a S&S ign mod
