Has anyone ever had trouble getting a replacement transmission?

Havent had to replace one yet (knock on wood) but what year make and model are you ooking for? Lots of places for transmissions.....ultima......baker?

I've found that it MATTERS which dealer you go to. I have 3, all within an hour away. One takes about a week for parts, one takes about 2 months!!! The other is pretty random, haven't figured them out yet.

Everyone I know that has changed the tranny has gone with the Baker six speed.

Thanks...I'm probably gonna have to lean towards the Baker 6 spd...HD won't give me one unless its a warranty issue...since my was damaged in transport, they told me to get bent and I ain't paying 2500K to rebuild me current transmission...
