Hello...I am new to the forum. I am looking for a backrest that fits on a 2012 heritage with stock seat. Tried the Grasshopper but it does not fit correctly with the passenger pillion and also pushes me too far forward. Does anyone know one that exists?

Thanks...I saw the Utopia product but hesitated because it looks like you need to go up through the passenger pillion. I start puttin holes in seats and i'm apt to shred things up pretty good....
I have and '09 FatBoy with the 200 tire, I have the same issue but I have the stock solo seat. I ended up making mine...alot cheaper than what they have to offer out there. I'll post the progress pictures once I finish.
Basically, 1/2" round cold rolled stock, 1/2" I.D. pipe, 1/4" steel plate, FatBoy back rest pad. Shape the round bar to the back rest pad, cut and shape plate for pad attatchment, bend to where you feel comfortable. Either weld (best) pipe to the fender on either side of ECM under seat. Pipe will serve as a receiver for the back rest. I frenched the ECM into the fender because I want to lower the seat.
I lower the seat because a trailer reciever comes later, so with the added air ride, I'll get a true full suspension travel when towing. a little complex but, my wife and I travel quite a bit and ride our bikes to "trailer week"
Yes, I saw that once I pulled the trigger...sorry...I've got the grasshooper model sittin in the corner if you are interested. Didn't fit my bike though...
