I have 2" baffles and they are loud if I get on it. A few have told me that it sounds like I have straight pipes when I get on it and pass them. But Rush gives you that nice deep rumble when cruising.

I had Rush 2" Baloney cut slip ones, they sounded real loud! They were purty quiet for the first 4k miles or so, but by the time I replaced them with tru duals (8.5k), they were way too loud for me! Deep, throaty and loud! VERY loud. Give them time, but it sounds like u don't have the 2" ones. I had a bud try to put these on his '011 Heritage and he said they don't fit, so I'm getting them back sooner or later.... LOL. Everyone I rode with loved the sound of them.

Default rush baffles

Bulldog its my bet you have 1.75's. If you do determine that you have 1.75's and want to trade for 2" let me know. I have them with 1000 miles on them and yes, they are loud.

That sounds like a good idea! The problem is we need new packing for then. Unless you can buy that stuff in town some where it is going to cost us both shipping. I am going to call Rush tomorrow and see what size I have...

Do you have a cat converter in your pipe like the touring , if you do that will make the bike much more quite no matter what muffler your using .

When I am at cruising speed I can hardly hear my pipes at all.
They don't rumble at that speed they just kind of hum......
