That's very similar to the one I am looking to get from Dead Creek Cycles. The only difference is the one I am looking at is not curved. I like either one honestly (curved or straight).
I don't think anyone would see it either... the downside is I know about it. I also don't want it to rust so I am thinking of ordering some of the red pearl touch up paint and just painting over it without trying to bend it back into place. I'm afraid if I try to bend it, it will make the paint flake and make it worse.
I think that place that sells them on eBay has concave, flat and convex versions.
If there is one thing I take more care of than anything else its the tins. Even a rock chip pisses me off. Time to scour ebay for a matching fender!!
Yea,it would be nice to try and find a new tin... can't be that expensive and I should be able to change it out easily. I think the issue is going to be finding one in my year and color.
If you dont plan on fixing it then you need to chip off the loose paint and go pick up some $60 HD touch up paint. A chip that big will get bigger over time if not sealed up.

Well, after seeing the one you listed that is similar on eBay for $425, it might be cheaper for me to pay to get it repaired. Ugh.
