Can the heritage fender be removed with struts and sissy bar still attached? i saw a photo when I first started getting on this site, but now i cant find it. Looked alot easier to remove fender as a unit to get to the other doodads.
Just be sure to unclip the electrical harness. Then, it should only be the first two bolts towards the front of the fender struts.
Be careful removing it. As in, you should mask it off very well, with at least painters' tape. The struts that are attached to the frame can be unfriendly to your paint.
