I have a '12 Lo, it feels ok in the grips and seat but cant see a thing in the mirrors after 50 mph. At the 1000 mile service they checked out the balancer and took it down the road, of coarse "everything was within specs". So i guess the mirrors are just for looks, not my looks but the bikes....

now i can see thourgh my mirrors
i dont think it is in the balancer
im thinking mine is the tuning between the front and back cylinder since my back exhaust pipe turns cherry red and the front has no discoloring at all i'm thinking that is a given but the dealer ship says the rear cyclnder allways runs hotter
bringing my bike in wednsday for the 1k service they will go over the whole bike and even place it on the dyno
they did also tell me MoCo does lean the bikes out to pass emissions so it is possible that the bike is to lean and is starving for gas above 70 mph
i cant wait to see if that was it

I would say you for sure have a problem. My solid mounted EVO mirrors are always good no matter what the speed. I would think the balanced motor should be much better. My old Iron Head Sportster was another matter. Mirrors were not good most of the time.

Document everything that you do or is done to the bike. Start NOW, don't let it wait. Call the MOCO customer satisfaction number and complain. That should start a file on the bike. Can you tell if the vibration is related to the chassis, wheels, tranny or motor, is it specific to any RPM, speed or gear. Pull in the clutch when vibration is occurring to see if it goes away. All this info is helpful when talking with the stealer and/or the MOCO.

Readin' is fundamental.

I would say you are correct with the tune. I have a T-Max on mine and when I get the fuel curve off or the timing off a bit there is a huge difference in the vibrations from the motor at speed.

I would dump the dealer and get a good tune.
