Help -- I have a 2012 Heritage "103" that vibrates when accelerating - in sixth at speeds over 72 it vibrates so bad the mirrors shake to the point you cannot see out of them -- 5th and 6th are very uncomfortable -- this is not my first new softail and this one is a real dissappointment -- anyone else experienced this

Have you checked the spokes? Several have had issues with the their 2012 Heritage wheels. My 2012 Heritage rear wheel spokes were loose requiring the shop to true the wheel.
^^ Another on the spokes^^
850 Miles on mine, and it was a terrible feeling that just kept getting worse.
Check em out.
My wheel and the bearings had to be replaced.
Damn sure nothing you should wait for, (as long as I did) I kept chaulking it up to weather and road conditions. You're in Fall City, so you know how I-90 can be, but those weren't the problem.
Well I messed that up, I thought that Beagletim started this thread. Sorry dude.
Not spokes changed to the thunder star wheels . Any other suggestion? This is my fourth new softtail and it is a disappointment. Dealer rep says it is within specs.
So you swapped the wheels out...I wonder if they are balanced properly. I would think that could cause that type of vibration especially at highway speeds. just a thought....

i purchased mine 10 days ago i complained that it vibrated so bad that i couldnt go over 70 miles and hour
i felt unsafe
dealer told me to drive it to the 1000 mile mark it still feels the same way
pull in the clutch vibration goes away (not the wheels ! !! )
Phew,, I am pleased with our 07 that everyone said was the worst HD ever made is still running Great,, in fact it getting better every Yr as time goes on...
Hope that MoCo gets the problem figured out and fixes them... too many having issues on the new 12's.
I love how dealers say "everything is within specs". If the bike doesn't work good but is within specs, then the moco has some pretty bad specs. I'd take it back to the dealer, or try another one if you can, and suggest they make the bike fit to drive. A good dealer should back up their products. Just make sure that it's not the rims you put on it first...
