Default looking to buy a heritage??

Well I just left the dealer.... I am torn. I have a 2000 deuce which I love!!! Got a bunch of cash in it making it my own but I feel like an elephant on a moped (6'4 240) Cant seem to get comfortable even with new bars and seat. Considering forward extensions but still not nor will get the touring comfort I am looking for.So I went to look at bigger bikes. Checked out road kings which I love but just didnt feel right so I checked out the heritages. Long story short I found a nice 2007 Heritage with decent miles. Upside is it is a 96 with FI and a 6 speed. Just trying to convince myself this would make a nice bike for as big as I am. Thought I would come here for some feedback before I commit.Any help would be appreciated.

I have an 06 Heritage Classic I'm 6' 1'' and 230 lbs and bike fits me perfect the only thing I changed out the handle bars for 1 1/4 mini apes but the stock bars were fine. When I bought mine new I test rode the Heriage and a road king and I liked the Heritage better.

I have an 07 Heritage, 6ft, 185 lbs. I have long legs as my inseam is 36" so I know how it is to have a bike feel small. Before this my first Harly was a sportster with extended forward controls and even with those it felt cramped. This bike fits me. I have Burley Beach bars and progressive 422 shocks. I have a couple of taller friends that are 6'3" and one that is 6"5 and both said this bike fits them well.

6'4" on a Heritage may look like monkey humping a football, but I own a Heritage after an 05 RK and 2007 E/glide. I like my Heritage the best, by far.

Appreciate the feedback. Think I am gonna hold onto my deuce for now. They are only offering me $6000 on trade in.Heritage is 7 years newer but only has 2000 less then mine. That and it is $12000.... may just hold off till spring and sell my bike outright or talk the ole lady into letting me have 2....... Probably go with the first. Is the deuce and heritage on the same frame? if so I am not gaining any. Think I am going to order some forward control extensions and try them out. Thanks again.
