Smile Wheel Mod

Hey Guys,

New to Forums and New to my 2007 Heritage Classic Softail. I am interested in doing some Mods to the Bike.

Grips, Switch covers, etc....blah blah blah

but I am most interested in some Badass Chrome Wheels and I noticed under the specs for my bike the front wheel is a MT90-B16(front)which i assume is a 16. and the Back wheel -150/80-B16(rear) which i assume is a 16 as well.

Is there anything stopping me from going bigger in wheel size? and up to what wheel size can you go-or what looks good without being to dang goddy looking? i am not looking for low profile look but maybe a 17-20inch type wheel

Any suggestions on companies to deal with about custom Chrome Wheels?

Anyone here got pics of your Wheel Mods?

Thanks

You could go 18"s all the way around with no problem. You can also do an 18"rear and 21" front. There are boatloads of pics of bikes here that have gone with bigger wheels.

Just remember that going with bigger wheels means increased ground clearance do you might have to lower the bike unless you're a tall guy.
Here is my Luxe with stock 16"rear and 21x2.15 front (excuse tire difference haven't dealt with that yet)

For the Heritage, a couple members have the Hogpro Matrix chrome wheels and they look really nice (almost look like spokes from a distance). They're solid construction, so you can run tubeless tires as well...a major plus for touring.

The biggest front wheel you an get on there is a 21x3.5. The biggest for the rear would be an 18x4.25. the front tire would be a 120/70/21 and the rear a 150/70/18. Others sizes you can run include 18x3.5 on the front and rear or the stock 16" size. By far the most popular size combo for your year and model is the 21 and 18. Here is the kicker. the 120/70/21 White wall is hard to come by nowadays.

I went with a 21/18 combo. The 18 in back looks great. Had an 18 up front originally, but wasnt much different than stock

The Hogpro matrix do look killer. Wish I had the coin for them
Here's ths 21/18

Here's 18 up front

That's why I'll be sticking with black walls.
