Hi all. Was wondering if anybody has any info on open primaries for an 84 FXST. I cant seem to find anyone who sells them so I believed that they aren't available, probably due to the starter solenoid mounted to the inner cover. If I can't locate one has anyone done anything to modify one to fit an 84 or any siggestions? Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

 

84 is an odd ball year as HD was switching over from Shovels to Evos. They used up a lot of shovel parts but also had the evo engine. Check with an indy I'm sure there is a way to et it done.

 

Yeah, odd ball is right. I think they used shovel lowers and evo heads. Like you said, I'm sure there is a way, just need to dig a little further. Thanks Harley_Dude.
