Default Chrome handlebar control help

I am looking to upgrade my 07 to chrome handlebar controls. I have priced out the HD kit at it is pricey with the brake master cylinder. Has anyone tried any of the after market offerings and if so does the switch housings have the place for the cruise control? I have found a couple that are very reasonable with out this feature, but I would like to keep it if possible. Thanks

Ya...I want the nice chrome handlebar controls. IMO there are some things that should stay OEM. I see them in ebay for 27, 39 and some referbished OEM ones for 69 bucks. I can just imagine the high quality chromed plastic ones or someone who likes to practice chroming some old black housings inwhich just might not fit properly.
There is some serious poor crap out there for you to buy "cheap" but those switch housings hold part of my life with them and every time I use them and they work and work properly means I can ride another day.
I'm not fond of using non OEM parts on my bike just from what I've seen and read, I feel that I'm going to spend twice for the same part that I coulda spent once and had it done proper.

On my last bike I used Custom Chrome clutch bracket, master cylinder, levers and switch housings. You could not tell them apart form the factory chromed pieces as far as quality and fit are concerned.

did you ever get chrome controls? I've got $350 worth of money on my account to use at the dealership and they're doing a 20% off everything sale for black friday, so I'll be ordering chrome controls for my deuce. Just not sure if I want to go with chrome HD kit or something completely aftermarket.

I'll agree on this one. But one less expensive alternative is a couple good chromers who sell on eBay. Impress Plating and Rick's Plating are both real good, dependable shops. Both are in SoCal, and do a ton of work on eBay. They work entirely off of a core/exchange program and only use genuine HD parts.. I've bought a bunch of stuff from both sellers, and honestly can't remember which one I bought my hand controls from.

I bought a set off of eBay, they are ok but I had to modify them to fit better. I have been riding with them now for 2 months.
