How easy is it to use a center stand on Heritage Classic?

I know this is an old thread, but I have a similar question, especially about HD part 98959-08. The only time I expect to use a center stand is in my garage or driveway, for detailing and other maintenance stuff. Kinda torn between a simple chock or the center stand.

And am wondering if the stand would interfere with normal use of a lift (the good old yellow Craftsman!). It just goes to show hold old, lazy and crotchety I'm getting when I get too lazy to throw it up on the lift!

Used to have ride off stands when I had GW'ers..
It helped with keeping the oil out of the Cyl'er and kept them from smoking on Start up..

As far as do I want/need them on our Heritage,, Uhhh I don't really think so.

if i need to keep her upright, I'lll use the jack/lift that I use now for cleaning and for winter storage.

I think it would definitely interfere with your lift.

there is no problem using the Sears lift, the stand mounts way to the rear, and the legs fold back around the tire,

1 foot on the stand, push down and the bike is up, I set the adjustment low so the bike just lifts upright, and I can drive off the stand, hard to do when the adjustment is set to high, you spin the rear tire..........
