Hey Guys,
I am in the process of looking into putting a fatboy nacelle on my 2006 fxst. Has anyone done this? I am planning on keeping my fxst chrome lowers, my bike it lowered 2 inches up front so the cowbells should cover them. My only concern is the triples tree. Can I use my stock Trees? or do I need to but fatboy trees? The front end rake is not my concern, but I am wondering if the headlight will mount to my current trees. I am also planning on running my stock 21" front tire and going fenderless. Should looke pretty good with my apes. Thanks in Advance.

I personally don't believe it's possible.
They're used to be companies that made nacelles specificaly for wide glide front ends.
I think you could fab it up how it would look? I changed my front end to a fatboy the lower tree's have mounting bolt holes threaded into to them. The fx does not. The distance between upper and lower tree's are the same. The head light is smaller on the fx. I bet you could make it work. Not sure how you could make the cow bells fit as they are bolted to the lower trees. Maybe use the plastic fork covers???
No not the same there are some difference in them. It has an allen head bolt that clamp's it in place. It has a bolt that does the adjusting instead of a nut. Not sure about the measurement's in them as I sold my frontend. I looked into all angles of switching over to get the look of a fl on my bike and the Cheapest was to just buy a used front end. The fl sliders are different than the fx's. I don't know if the cow bells will fit over the fx sliders?? I used the fx's rim. tire (would like a 21x3.5 but $ ain't here right now), brakes and used a deluxe fender.
