Dropped the new tank of yesterday for some airbrushed badges and graphics. Well see what great ideas come from his crazy mind.
The Rocker is taped in so it will show through in black when removed. Iron maiden theme with new badges getting blown in too. Still hoping to do the tear down and rebuild complete on Labor day weekend. C'mon HHI, get me my front end.
HHI pulled through and got my front end to me, but failure to get the new wheels made me delay this weekends plans. At least the weather cooperated for some good riding. Made a list tonight of parts to buy tomorrow, then I will start the tear down. Planning on doing this in the evenings after work this week.
Tomorrow - remove tank, bars, wires, and front end.
Tuesday-install new front end
Weds/Thurs- wire up new bars, add heartland turn mirrors, and get the new chubbys on the bike. Put on the new Ness controls. Change clutch and brake lines.
Fri- mount wheel and measure spacers. Install new HHI 6 piston caliper
Sat- Install PC-V, and A/C. Put new tank on.
Sunday - Ride?
