Bars on after several issues, mainly wrong bolts. FYI, Chubbys take a 1/2 inch coarse thread (at least my drag bars did.)
Also figured out you shouldn't wire up your heartland turn signals without the clutch hooked up... got to cut my fresh wire job (I'll fix it Saturday.)
Checked plugs and everything is good. Re-wiring bars is not fun.
Also gutted old tank, and put everything in the new one.
Got her all back together, threw a rim I had in the garage on just to roll her around a bit (disc on opposite due to spacers not fitting, new wheels arrive Tuesday.)
After troubleshooting a wire, it all works. Off to Harley to get some new synthetic to replace what I dropped into the bucket during the cable change.
Not a bad project for now. This winter, take out the rear, paint fender, change wheel, and powdercoat swingarm and grey fender struts.
PS- the clutch issue was solved in about 20 seconds after posting here- I didn't know how to get the cable out. Had to get a plier for the clip in there.
