SE Motor question about vin numbers
Looking at a SE motor complete off supposedly RK.
The story is it was bought from a sheriffs sale neck has been cut off bike. (Thinking stolen)
Is there anyway to look up the motor numbers? has 10 digits. Tranny has 8.

Oh gosh!
I'd think if it was really purchased from the sheriff auction, they would have provided receipts, and you could ask for those. One could also check back with the sheriff. Or maybe just saying you were going to do that would produce a useful reaction.
