The compensator is mildly revised from 2011 to 2012, and is now the same across all big twins (including the CVO bikes) if I remember correctly from the dealer literature. It isn't the same as the SE compensator that was in the 2011 103's/110's.
I think I saw where a plastic washer (or maybe teflon or nylon) was substituted in the latest edition of the compensator...replacing a metallic washer in the previous model. Or am I going crazier?

"Fits '06-'11 DynaŽ, '07-'11 SoftailŽ (except FXCW, FXCWC and FXSTSSE3) and '07-'10 Touring models. Original Equipment on Trike, '11-later Touring and '12 DynaŽ and SoftailŽ models. Installation on '06 DynaŽ models requires separate purchase of '07-style stator."
