I am wondering about how much better or worse it is than the stock "leather" one? My stock one is folding up on the edges so I am looking to replace it... just not sure if I want to go leather or chrome at this point.
Interesting, I never thought about leaving that part blank. I may try that tonight and see how it looks. I am a little worried as to how the paint under it looks though.
My buddy had one, looked good. It's just a matter of preference
Yea, I hate decisions. lol
I am thinking chrome because my bike is more chromed (and getting more and more by the day) out right now and the only thing leather on it is the swing arm bag...which I take off at times.

It is narrower at the bottom so if you leave the stock plastic one on there long enough it will scratch the paint up and if you put a custom one on there the outline of the old panel will show.

Wow, that is sharp!
If my paint looks ok under the plastic one, I may go this route. If it doesn't look so good, I will probably go with the chrome panel extension.
