Just wanted to show off the new ride a bit. Been on forum for a bit over on the sportster side. Then last friday I traded the sporty for a 1996 heritage for more comfort for the wife and to do more long hauls. Intro'd myself over in the Evo section but figured I'd show off a little bit more here being a softail and I'm sure I'll be reading and learning off both sections. Now what we've all been waiting for...the pics
Yep we did the same thing, went from an '06 XL1200C to our '12 Heritage.
Thank you for your service to our country.
One of the first mods you might look into is to install a Shotgun Shock air suspension system, we did this on our bike and we cannot believe the ride, like riding on a majic carpet. And you can adjust the ride height and spring/rebound load. JD has a special on right now for forum subscribers he is selling the SS system for $1250.00.
