I've been holding back, hoping I would get more done, but it looks like this will be it for a while.
So far: leather bag, red grips, tank emblems, little spikey things on the license plate and dash, round black mirrors, and removed the front fender.
I have an old school style tailight in black that will be added soon..
Future mods: fork brace, custom seat with pillion pad, yellow passing lamps, black engine guard, mufflers and an S & S air cleaner. Plus I'll add a little pin striping.
I've been having more fun with this bike than I've had with my previous two.
And the potential for change is great, I could see doing a full fendered version some day.
I would like to thank everyone that's been posting pics of their rides, its very inspiring.
Get home tomorrow my intention is to buy a charcoal satin Slim but when I see the pics of your bike I say black wouldn't be a bad choice either. Local dealer has three blocks Slims but no charcoal. Says he will go get me one but I know he'll let the black ones go at a good price.
