Saddlebag Change

I decided to change my above high quality Leatherworks Leather saddlebags, just for a different look.

So I installed these bargain basement throw overs that I converted over to fit the Leatherworks
mounting brackets.

So I guess I'll be selling my Leatherworks Saddlebags.
PM me if interested.

Man, I don't know which set of bags I like better on your bike. Looks good either way.

Look to be much larger capacity with the new. That why the luggage rack is gone? That rack looked nice on there. tp

I've been holding back, hoping I would get more done, but it looks like this will be it for a while.
So far: leather bag, red grips, tank emblems, little spikey things on the license plate and dash, round black mirrors, and removed the front fender.
I have an old school style tailight in black that will be added soon..
Future mods: fork brace, custom seat with pillion pad, yellow passing lamps, black engine guard, mufflers and an S & S air cleaner. Plus I'll add a little pin striping.

I've been having more fun with this bike than I've had with my previous two.
And the potential for change is great, I could see doing a full fendered version some day.

I would like to thank everyone that's been posting pics of their rides, its very inspiring.

The old saddlebags are great but very limiting in terms or space (I have the same set); looks like the new ones do the trick? Looks good!!

Eventually I will be making the chage to larger bags as well

Yep, both bags work fine on the Slim, the latest ones hold a tad more.

Yes, the luggage rack is gone for now, it may return if ever needed for my roll bag.

The newer bags were a gift from a friend who used them once and decided on a
hard bag choice instead.
