The sissy bar that is being sold on eBay for the slim and black line is nice but $300 is a bit steep. The good thing is that it is bolt on with no mods

Dpoto99, Thanks for the response. Still beating the bar with my rubber mallet to no avail. Maybe I've got it torqued down too hard (along with the blue loctitie.) On Tuesday my Stage 1 setup comes in: Rinehart true back crossbacks, Zipper AC and PowerVision. thanks again.

For comparison, strictly on the bar/pad not counting tail light kits or time grinding, the slim/Blackline bar is $260 plus $60 for the pad.
Comparable. And both expensive.

You are pushing in the locking plungers on the latch when you rotate them back up when you're removing the sissy bar? It should pop right off with very little effort.

Anybody used this bar? If so how does it look?
I have seen the other bar on eBay but haven't seen this one on a bike.

Also does anyone have the specs for the Harley sissy bars? I am curious about the heights.

I think you referring to my bike. I ended up getting the chrome head light trim ring from the dealer and had it powder coated wet black. If you check ebay, I think I seen a few going for $80 already powder coated black.
