Reading these posts makes me wonder why there's not a no grinding, no new seat, no moving the lights sissy bar for the 2013 Blackline. And that's not an arm and a leg.

hello, i'm from france, and sorry i don't speak very well english. lol I have a slim and i should like put a sissybar. could you give me the reference off your's. i dont want to relocate the tail lights. the same as dproto 09.

HI utah64, I have the stock detactable sissy bar from Harley davidson. All you have to do is take a grinder and trim some of the metal behind the latch and it will fit perfect and not have to relocated the signal lights.

Yo, French Connection , you can go on Ebay and these guys do great bars for the Slim without any relocation mods needed. If they don't have the Slim model posted, just message them and they will hook you up.

Hi,

I am also trying to get a detachable sissy bar for my Slim, and, who wonders, experiencing the same problems.
So I have a couple of questions on that.

First, I understood that when I want to put the detachable sissy bar, I can grind the locks on the sides that would otherwise touch the stud screws, right?
Second, where do I get the screws for the studs, because the original ones will I think not fit? (In order to hold the sissy bar)
Third, is there any chance to get also the detachable saddle bags onto the bike without relocating the indicators?
Fourth, does anybody recognize the sissy bar on this auction?

It does not look like the original one-piece from HD, so I do not know if it would fit with/without grinding?
