Default 03 Springer

Picked up my first Harley a few months ago, an 03 Springer Softail. like new, very low miles. I noticed on one of the top springs is getting higher than the other. you can really notice it when you look at the spring bridge. Can i just tighten this back down or am i looking at a bigger project? Plan one getting the service manual as soon as i get some $$, but in the mean time i dont wanna ride like that in case its something major and ends up costing more. any ideas??
