The deal was done in August and stands, just as if the bike was here in August.
Even though it probably won't have arrived from the USA (via Rotterdam, Belgium, France, & Milton Keynes etc) til late October - perhaps even November....!
So, no smoke - just a whole lot more waiting.
And checking out the Slim pics that are being posted, for ideas...

Andy, that pretty much echoes what Warr's in Chelsea told me two weeks ago when I bought my Slim from them. I went to enquire about ordering one and they had one left in the showroom unsold, and said, they weren't due any more in until November, hence me buying straight away the one they had left, and so I was able to be out on this last warm weekend just gone, putting some running-in miles on it, only two weeks after doing the deal.
Message from My Man at the dealers today. My bike should be in by the end of next week. Given a few days to do all the necessary prep-work & I could be out and on the road within a fortnight.
oh that's cool, send my love to Blighty, glad I don't live there any more tho all that bloody rain! And I can get Cadbury's Flakes, Branston, custard and Bisto etc at the local supermarkets in Florida
looking forward to seeing pics of your bike, what colour are you getting?

Really love mine. a blast to drive and pretty quick for a hawg. Just pure bike.
