Passenger floorboard relocation...

Passenger floorboard relocation...
ok, my wife is a 5'10, long legged blonde. So far so good. But the floorboard placement using Harley floorboard brackets and floorboards don't put the floorboards where her long legs want to put her foot.
Has anyone found a way, USING THE STOCK HARLEY FLOORBOARD AND FLOORBOARD BRACKET to move the passenger floorboards forward about 2 inches?
The folks at every Harley parts counter I have been to has looked at me and scratched their heads.

You need to get with the right parts guy. I just moved mine for my wife and made her happier. You have to replace everything from the frame out but it's splined and alows quite a bit of adjustment forward and down. I'm short legged and her foot and board hit me in the back of the calf now 
so know its moved ahead quite a bit.

Nice, but attach differently than the stock floorboards attach and no way to adapt it...
