I love beach bars.

You should measure though, have someone help you with a broom stick and a level and measure your pullback and width and rise and see what feels comfortable for you.

I like BR Customs bars and he will make them to your specs so whatever your area of comfort is he will make, you dont have to settle for a couple of pre determined bars.

I know HawgHalters carries a cafe style beach bar from BR Customs that sounds like it might be more of what you are describing.
They offer it alone or pre wired with their hidden controls, but you can look at them to see what the shorter more aggressive beach bars look like.
here are the shorter ones

And here are some really cool ones but like I said these you can order to your specs.

If you scroll way down the page you will see batwing bars that are kinda like what you are describing and a little further the bus bars and beach bars.

Anyway for me I like a 36" width, 12 to 14" pullback with little to no rise.
I also love how they look.
Especially the really fat bars like the 1 1/2".

heres a page explaining how to measure

P.S. that bike you posted a pic of is beautiful man.

The seat was done by Gabe Lopez (Gabes Custom Interiors in CA). He charges about a $ 1000.00 to do a seat like that. Yes a thousand !!!

Thanks Malingerer. I'd love to go custom made on pipes, but not sure I'll like the price. BTW, how is it you know so much about this bike?
