Anybody have aftermarket handcontrols for the springer? If so, which brand?
I'm looking for parts to my winterproject. Bars are on their way. Probably getting the grip ace, and the Biltwell Whiskey throttle. But which company makes the 9/16" master cylinder with the brakelight-switch? I know PM do, but I don't like the design. I love the Jaybrake Classic controls, which would look great on the Bones, but they only offer the brakelight-switch on the 5/8"
As I understand, the brakelever will be stiffer with a bigger bore MC, and I think it's a bit too stiff stock, so don't wanna spend $300 and cause it to be even stiffer ( unusable ).
For some reason I haven't checked out Joker Machine in a while. These http://www.jokermachine.com/itemstre...&Placeholder=0 will work, and I think they would look good on the bones, BUT they only have it in chrome and black. There's no way I'm putting any more chrome on this bike, and I think black bars, grips and controls will look boring, so I would really prefer something like polished alu....
Yeah I've seen those, and they would probably look very slick on the right bike, but I don't want them.
Looking for the old/retro simple look. With the gripace all the electrical will be hidden. I don't mind the throttle/brake/clutch cables..
I think it looks better without the throttle return-cable, but still gonna run duals. Bike runs poor enought handling/brake/safetyvice ( compared to my previous sportbikes ), so I'm not gonna make it worse.
I was talking about the clean internal throttle and brake set up they have. I think their setup is much better than Exile.
I don't know how they are set up on switches, but a brake light switch is just the button that relays to the brake light to turn on. I am sure all have it or they are designed to use the oem version. Nobody would sell a setup that doesn't allow you to use your brake light when pressing.
