Hi,
Just bought a 2012 fatboy and would like to know how to remove the right side passenger footpeg strut without disturbing the stock exhaust bracket. It appears the pipes are held in place by the passenger footpeg strut. Cant take pipes off, as I am new to this.
Thanks,
Byron
get a pair of snap ring pliers. remove snap ring from peg. remove stud that peg swivels on, dont lose the tension clip inside the peg, once peg is off, use the correct size torx and remove peg.
you can remove the peg and not worry about the exhaust.
the exhaust is held on by the main bracket 2 bolt near the bottom of frame
