Hello all! I have an '04 deuce and want to put on some 12" mini-apes onto what i am assuming are the factory risers. They sweep back and are about 8" tall, all pictures of this year show them with this type of riser.
Question is: What length cable kit do i order!? 12" or somewhere around 20" ? (12"bars + 8" risers = 20")
went to burly cables and in the description it states to be used on softail with 2" risers...ummm... (enter a confused emoticon here)
speaking of burly cables... Go with them or magnum sheilding? All cost around the same, but they don't include the wiring extensions. Reading elsewhere i can expect to pay as much as $60 for the chunks of wiring.
Sorry for the long winded entry, any help or information is greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.
Well imo if they r saying that length is for 2 inch risers and our deuces have 8"risers i would add 6"to that length to get what is actually needed. Vut i'm sure someone will have a better answer for u.
Jimartina - spoke with a guy at burly and he said the deuces had the 8" risers from the factory and the standards had the 2" risers. When ordering the cable and wire kits we just have to order the fxstd kits and they will be the ones for our deuces. Thanks for the help
