Default Lil' Joe's Jacket

Well I posted this in the general discussion, but haven't gotten any replies, so I will try it here at home in the softail forum:

I have heard great things about Lil' Joe's vests, which are quite expensive. However, I have not heard anything about the jackets they sell. Anybody have one of these? http://blackmagicapparel.com/shopsite_sc/store/html/LJ-371.html

Looks like a mid weight jacket.
Their vests are basically a high quality jacket with the sleeves removed.

I was wondering the same thing. My buddy has a Little Joe's vest and the quality is outstanding, but I have never seen the Jackets. Like Kowan said, their vests are just sleeveless jackets, so I would bet the quality is there.

I had one of his jackets years ago. Very nice. Sorry I sold it.

Let the forum hear a review. Plenty of people would like to know what you think. I wear horsehide myself, but when I compare even my best horsehide to a Lil Joe's, its truly hard to decide which one is actually better.

I have an XL that I am currently selling.
It has been used on maybe half a dozen commutes to work, so about three hours total.
The leather is very supple just like the vest. I also have an XL vest I would like to sell with it, which snaps right over the jacket just fine, no need for vest extenders unless you just want to use them.
Just like the vest, it has a gun pocket on the inside left, and a map pocket on the inside right. It has two zip pockets on the front bottom sides for your hands.
Both the jacket and the vest have the black cosmo flight suit lining on the inside, which is very high quality and I assume made from satin. The lining on the jacket goes throughout the arms as well.
All pockets are leather lined interior, not made from cloth.
Brass colored YKK zippers, and they are meaty. Very, very nice quality. I can't stand cheap and flimsy zippers but these are the real deal.
Zippers on the cuffs so you can unzip them and open the ends of the arms up for some ventilation.
Bi-swing back.

Blindrocket has a pretty good deal on the above offer guys if anyone is interested. I am a XXL so it's not gonna work out for me.

The quality is really top notch on the jacket, just like the vests. Blindrocket gives a good description of it, so I won't go into it. I did find the sizing to be a little screwy though. They said to size up from your normal T-shirt size and I took my chest measurement (42.5) and decided that a large would work well. When it arrived and I was able to try it on, it was pretty large around the chest for me, and quite large around the middle. I'm just waiting on the medium I've exchanged it for to arrive, which should fit nicely. The large would have been fine if I was to wear hoodie weight layers under it, but I don't do that. Just an FYI on the sizing.

Thanks for the heads up boots. I do layer quite often, so I'd better stick to the XXL.
