Very cool!! I did the front-end on my bike a couple years ago. (See pic below.) I'm slowly doing the back wheel to match now, with a very good friend of mine that is involved with this company: http://blackartdesigns.com/ is helping me with the rear suspension. I'm keeping the oem swingarm though...

Hey, he read my mind!!! I mean I read his mind.....ahhh whatever!!

Not exactly, but this is very similar to what I am shooting for.

Well, since I spilled the beans on the look I am going for, I guess I can show one that is even closer to what I am shooting for, just less bling bling.

i am in Torrington, always like to ride!!!

Boring update, but got some little stuff done.
some parts came in

Did a little "bombing". I know, I know, should powder coat. I had the wheels on my truck powder coated for a few hundred and it fell apart in two months. I constantly touch em up with the spray can. This time I will do it first for $6.00 and if it falls apart, then I will go the powder route.

True value outdoor patio furniture paint. Stuff is like armour coating. Painted my CB with it, not even gas can dent it!!!!

Short shots before

short shots after, I know the hose clamps look like ****, but I couldnt get those little steel ties tight. Just threw the clamps on for now.

Time to go to work, Later

Safty wire looks cool if you wrap like 10 coils tight togather. FWIW.

The triple trees are from Accutronix. They used to make these conversion trees for this swap, and still might!?!? The forks are Buell XB9r that I sent to Race-Tech for their springs, valves, and emulators. I'm also swapping over to EFI, changing the engine combination, etc... Here's a pic of the EFI tank, and rear wheel.
