Not sure what the deal is? Was running along a dark stretch of road with high beam on. Suddenly it flickered, then clicked off(totally dark). Hit the switch to low beam and light still worked. Before reaching home, I tried high beam to see if it was still burnt out. Nope, it works again. Still fine, though haven't had a good chance to run it a long time to see if it turns off.
Do they have circuit breaker in headlight wiring? Any insight?

I've had that happen.........the filament was just hanging by a thread. Vibration was causing the break in the filament wire to make/break contact.
Thanks. I was going to replace it in the near future anyway. I was looking at putting an aftermarket headlight on it as the original housing is kinda rough looking. Previous owner musta rubbed it with something. Chrome isn't nice anymore.
