Default 03 softail wide rear question

Okay, I have used the search function and have found some tidbits of info here and there so let me confirm what I am hearing.

I am planning out going to a wider tire bobber set up on the rear of my '03 Softail Standard. Bear with me, because I have somewhat of a vision in my head. I want to go with the Heartland 180 bobber fender and run a 180 tire on a 16 inch wheel so I can run a whitewall.

I understand there would be clearance issues with the brake caliper and swingarm with a 16 inch rim and 180 tire. If I get an '06 or later wide tire swingarm that would eliminate that issue right? Are there differences between the '06 swingarm and the '07 and up swingarms that would make things easier or harder? Thanks.
