Hello everybody. My buddy just picked up a beautiful 2008 Rocker C with 2000 miles on it. What a difference a seat and some apes make on this bike...
Anyway, being that he is keeping his bike next to my RKC in my garage and I am a clean freak, I detailed it for him. The paint looks 3 feet deep and the chrome shines better than new, but I can't seem to get the wheels to polish out how I want them to. I used never dull and then mothers polish with a power ball and still not happy with the result. Anybody have any suggestions? I am trying to convince him to chrome them over the winter but need to do something in the meantime. Thanks!
Thanks for all of your replys. I can always count on the forums for some good advice. I was going to advise him to go with the chrome but now im thinking gloss black powdercoat with a red pinstripe around the lip to match the outline of the flames would look good. Then go with a chrome pulley and polished 5 spoke rotors for contrast
Midgard - bring it by anytime and I'll shine it up for you. The rocker is actually owed by my business partner (first bike) and my marketing director keeps his chromed out '07 deluxe in my garage as well. He gets the complimentary detail service also. I just cant stand a dirty bike or car. What's one more??? Lol
For what it's worth after really looking at the rocker and seeing pics of some of yours on the forum, I can't believe how under appreciated these bikes were. With a few tweaks they really are beautiful machines that stand out on the road.

They're still under appreciated! But I still get asked what kind of bike I have all the time....
