Just found out a co-worker of mine's father was killed instantly on his bike today. .

Thoughts and prayers go out to the family for their loss.
People, we need to remember that as much fun as we are having there are inherent risks in what we do. Always be aware of what is going on around us, assume nothing and ALWAYS ride with an out. As this season winds down we have seen far to many incidents and I for one am weary of reading about them.

Living in a city, there are almost daily news reports of a biker down. I am sadden to hear of any brother or sister being killed but don't know anymore to say, it happens much to often. All I can do is shake it off and throttle down.

Riding a Motorcycle in itself is not inherently dangerous. But to an even greater degree than the driving a car, it is terribly unforgiving of any carelessness, incapacity or neglect by the rider or those they share the road with.
