Default choosing a crotch cooler

South Florida is too hot not to get one of these and I like the Capt Itch leather ones but need some help choosing one. I have a Heritage and can't decide between a plain one, plain with conchos, studs and conchos, just studs, or diamonds.

here's the page, please help this girl out! My Heritage is Midnight Pearl and Silver Pearl.

I say studs & conchos to continue the theme.

Call the Captain and ask what he thinks. I had same bike as yours and got tired of the studs. Left them on the bags and "destuded" the rest of the bike. Looked good I thought. One can overdo the studs I think.

Question; do these Crotch Coolers affect engine cooling? It seems that they could limit air flow away from the rear cylinder.

Lauren,

I've been looking to do the same and I'm leaning toward the studs to continue the theme. I think the plain would be just TOO plain, what with the studs on the seat and bags, and the conchos would be a bit much, as they are already on the bags at that approximate height. My 2 cents.

I say studs at a minimum. I have the "no more fried thighs" one that is plain. Well it has one stud on it. Needs more in my opinion. Maybe I'lll put more on it some day, was thinking about adding a conch in the center or something. I bought this used and only preferred this one over captain itch one cause it has the hole cut out for the oil dip stick. It's more rigid as well. I still may get a itch one eventually.
