Throw some 18" apes on that scoot and you would be really, really comfy.

OK, I have never ridden a bike old enough to have that style of seat, but wondered how they were thinking you could get two people on the thing. The purpose of the "Buddy" seat was to ride two up. I just think that it looks pretty small for two people to sit on very comfortably.

If it works for you, then that's all that matters. I was wondering how you attached it because it looks like it has a post.

Well so much for the "you sit in a softail" thing. But I understand you did what you had to do to be comfortable. I kind of did the same thing with my Night Train by putting on the 8" pullback risers. They don't look as cool as the straight 6" one's did, but the bike is way more comfortable to ride now.
Hope you have many happy and comfortable miles ahead of you.

It still looks like it would be uncomfortable to me, having to reach down for the bars. I would think a set of mini-apes would be just the ticket so as not to be murder on the back and shoulders in its current form.

Dang your a big Dude!! No wonder you like that old style seat! I can't believe your bike didn't get stuck in your azz crack everytime you rode and had to have that thing surgically removed everytime you got off of it, LOL!! I had that same seat on a 70 Electra glide. Ugly as hell but more comfortable then most! I would also look into getting my floor boards out and forward some on your bike, that would HAVE to help you too!
