After reading the forum on power modules I purchased the Power Commander. Installation was a breeze. Cranked the bike up and it ran like crap. Only running on 1 cylinder and gas pouring from the other. Called the company that I purchased it from, we did a reload of the module over the phone using my computer. Reinstalled the module and the same thing. I though maybe I had fouled the plugs so they were replaced. Crank her up again and the same thing. I then removed the module and reconnected to computer. Engine ran fine. Called the company and explain the problem with the module was still present. Also told them about replacing plugs and reconnecting computer. They are sending me another Power Commander. Has anyone experience this problem with the Power Commander?
My riding buddy has a Power commander on his Deuce. Two years later it starts acting up, finally dies, he hauls it home, and he takes off the power commander, the bike runs fine. He sent it back to factory, they finally sent him a new unit. Works fine again, but around here in middle Georgia, the power commander has the rep of being inferior quality for lasting. Wallacem
