Guitar Dude

I Really don't think Ur gonna loose 8&8 because of Ur BS's pipes.. It will be in a different area of the sheet VS some good 2-1's though it depends on what U have now.
BSS'ers are really decent pipes with their cross over. like mini 2-1's.

Of all the hundreds of sheets I seen and studied, V&H's BSL's and Shorts will suffer some lose in the under 3k. BUT they still make almost the same TQ in the 3-4.5 rpms..

Good 2-1"s will be better in the 2-3.5 rpms area than most any 2-2 pipes.

Don't forget to look at the need for a better bottom end and for sure a better clutch to hook up all Ur new found mods...

Other than that, with my cams only 92/80 on our bike... I'll just say "HANG--ON to that MF'er when U get her back....

Thanks...since we are going to a trailer for our longer trips, I had thought about different cams to give more low end pull, but after talking to Steve at ATM, I'm building it for what I do with it the most and then will adjust when I need to.

Using the PCIIIusb, what experience have you seen/had with multiple maps? I've never really worried about it, tune it for how I ride and go ride, but since we ARE going to be pulling a trailer on longer runs (anything over 5 days out, 3-4 times a year) I'm thinking maybe get two maps and swap them as needed?

Interested to see your results with both the AMS kit and Thunder Alley. They are both about 20 miles from me and I've been looking at their stuff for a while. Love my Fat Cat by the way.
