Well I went to start my 2012 Deluxe while in nuetral and I push the button and nothing...
The lights are nice and bright and I hear the fuel injection kick on but not a sound from starter or anything, no crank what so ever.
Volt meter says that I have 12.7 volts on battery, I put a batter charger on it anyway for a couple of hours and charger reads "full charge"
Tried working the clutch, tapped on starter, rocked back and forth in gear.
Just looking for ideas to try from you all. I know its under warranty but dealer is located 4 hours away and no indy. Thought I would ask for ideas before I try to get it to the dealer.
Maybe check to see if your ground wire is a bit loose where it bolts on the frame, happened to me once.
Other thing may be that if you have the factory security the battery in your fob may be dead, but you would have noticed your turn signals flashing when you tried to start the bike.
thanks guys, no key fob or security system, sorry forgot to say also I cleaned all battery terminal conections and ground connections as one of the first things I did.
Guess I'll go get the battery load tested tomorrow, possibly fuses? Not sure where they are located.
Bike only has 1200 miles on it.
Not to insult you or anything but is the kill switch on the bars in the run position...I don't use mine but I've seen it happen more than once. I prefer it to be something stupid I'm doing where I can just call myself an idiot than something that requires time and money to fix.

Lol no worries, yep in run position, even took it apart to make sure it wasnt corroded up and it looked nice and clean.
