Default Tank lift experiences

I'm considering getting or making a tank lift kit similar to JP Cycles 7200797 (2") or 7200798 (3") for my FX Springer. Anyone have any negative experience with these? Is there any concern about fuel flow? For example, will I angle the tank such that I won't be able to use the last gallon of gas or something similar?

Thanks.

it doesnt effect nothing with the gas milage or gauge.if you have a 2 piece gastank it will not work.thier onlt for 1 piece gas tanks.dont buy a lift from j &p, way to dam expensive. here is a link to my tank lifts, same style half the price.i make them for softails and all models.

I thought I knew just about anything you could do to a bike, however I have no idea why one would want a tank lift. What is it all about...Thanks....

It raises the front of the tank to give it more of a chopper look. I have a 2.5" rise on mine I made at home.

Hey JimStro16, you have a full side view for a better look at the tank lift? Bike looks sharp!

This is the closest I have right now. I have it down to the frame right now for a total revamp.
