TECH - HARLEY-DAVIDSON FORK OIL CAPACITY CHART
Published 02/19/2009 11:54 AM | Updated 11/04/2011 12:19 PM
Last summer my INDY changed my Fork oil.. only put in 10oz.. the front end bottomed out easy and clunked on return.. I checked my Manual and it said the same as chart above,, The FL front end needs 12 1/2 ozs,, so I went back and they added a couple more Ozs and that fixed her.. Difference between the FL's and FX's on how much to use and also what Yr the bike is.. Also went to 20w fork oil and I like it.
This is the Best I've seen on Fork amounts..
