The so-called "Chopper craze" has pretty much died out, or come and gone at least in this country.
Look at Big Dog, Titan, Texas Choppers, Thunder Mountain to name a few.
Even OCC has been canceled. I mean geez. LOLOL.
I think that the only one that is left is Big Dog now, and I'm sure their sales suck compared to where they used to be.

Hi, New to the forum and glad to be doing some reading in regards to the Softail standard.

I figured I would share a picture of the my 2001 FXSTI

The seat is not on in the picture as I was installing a battery tender

Thanks

The Standard is good bike to start with to personalize, IMO. The wide fork/tall skinny tire with the Bobtail fender is IT as far as I'm concerned. Maybe H-D thought we all customized them, so they went to the FXSTC. That didn't sell, so now it's the Blackline. My biggest issue with the Blackline is it doesn't have the Bobtail fender.

Guess they just weren't selling. It's a shame the FXSTC, FXST, FXSTB and the original Wide Glide are all gone now. Damn glad I have my NT, they don't make them like that anymore.

The Black line doesn't have the tank console either, does it? To me, that is another classic Harley piece that should never go away.
