Default lowering a deuce??????

still looking for comments been told by one harley shop bolt kit on back springs on front, another one said do the shocks only on the rear , local indy said bolts on rear ,tubes on the front OH BOY I FEEL LIKE IM ON THE TITANIC HERE ANY HELP OR THOUGHTS WELCOMED

This very subject has been beaten into submission on this board and others like it. Try a search to get all the info you can to help in your decision. Personally, I dropped mine 1 1/4-1 1/2 in rear with bolts and front a like amount with Progessive springs...no regrets. Really a lot of opinions available if you will do a search. John

I have heard of people doing all three versions.

Most only lower rear. If you want to lower front too, i would try springs first. Tubes would cost alot more.

You may want to look at raking the front end a couple of degrees, One way of lowering front end.

I lowered the rear only, I used progressive 413 shocks.[8D]
